Skip Sams has a light that shines through the airwaves that is inspirational, intelligent and enlightening. Skip found his way to radio as a host at WVUM in Miami after he was a guest on the program Classical Lunch in 2009. Since then he was news producer/announcer for VoiceCorps radio and hosts his own podcast, Be The Music. Popular music serves as the soundtrack of personal stories of a variety of guests that inspire and uplift the listener.
Sams has years of experience producing and directing voice over talent. He has written and produced numerous jingles. He would love to see more radio plays come back as a form of modern entertainment.
Radio Program Highlights
Skip Sams has a light that shines through the airwaves and is inspirational, intelligent and enlightening. Skip accidentally found his way to being a radio host at WVUM in Miami after he was a guest on the program Classical Lunch. The host for the show, Greg Mulzet, announced he was leaving the show due to his increasing workload as a composer and being impressed with the sound and personality of his former guest, Mulzet suggested Skip as the replacement. Sams enjoyed that position for nearly a year and transformed his show from a straight forward classical listening hour that would introduce the regular college student in a way that was fun and entertaining.
